Greetings from the Department of Medicine, Graduate School.

We would like to provide the following information regarding the Fall 2026 course registration change period, as well as course capacity increases and updates for Department of Medicine courses.


  1. Attached Documents (Please make sure to read Attachments 1 and 3 carefully.)

  • Attachment 2: Graduate School Course Registration Guide
  • Attachment 3: Department of Medicine Course Syllabus for Fall 2026
  • Attachment 4: Guide to Research Ethics Course Registration (Required once before graduation)


  1. Fall 2026 Academic Schedule Please note that the academic schedule is subject to change.
  • Course registration is available 24 hours a day during the registration period.
     However, on the first day, portal login will be available from 9:00 a.m., and course registration will open at 10:00 a.m..
  • First Day of Classes: September 1 (Tue.), 2026 (Please be advised that attendance for Graduate School of Medicine courses will be recorded starting from the first week of classes.)
  • Course Registration Confirmation and Add/Drop Period: September 3 (Thu.) – September 7 (Mon.), 2026
  • Course Withdrawal Period: September 8 (Tue.) – September 10 (Thu.), 2026
     (A withdrawn course will be recorded as a “W” on the transcript. No tuition refund will be provided for course withdrawals.)

Medical Research Methodology

Priority will be given to students who must complete the course in Fall 2026 to avoid an additional semester of tuition (Master's/Doctoral students in their 3rd semester or above; Integrated Master's-PhD students in their 5th semester or above).


  1. Revision of the Individual Research Guidance Course A(Effective Beginning Fall 2026) 
  • Purpose: To promote a more focused research environment and reduce students' academic workload, the range of credits that may be earned through the Individual Research Guidance courses has been expanded.

    • A Master's or Doctoral student registers for Individual Research Guidance 5. (Students who retain the course after receiving a separate cancellation/withdrawal notice will not be eligible for credit.)
