On the morning of April 23th, 2013, Severance Robot and MIS Center Grand Opening was held at Avison Biomedical Research Center, Severance Hospital, Seoul.

Prof. Namsik Chung, General Director of Severance Hospital and Mr. Zeron van Heeswijk, Vice President Asia-Pacific of Intuitive Surgical, signed on the MOU on partnership to collaborate together for advancement of high-tech surgical technologies and promoting education and training.

In the speeches given by Prof. Namsik Chung and Mr. Zeron van Heeswijk, they have agreed that the MOU commits us to work together closely towards our common goal: the pursuit of improving healthcare quality in both institutions.
