Speech pathology
Our graduate program in speech pathology aims to prepare students to become clinically competent in assessing and treating speech-language disorders. This program provides students with a variety of clinical and research opportunities with the vast resources available through the faculty members and research facilities in a hospital setting.
On achieving a master's and a doctoral degree and a certificate of clinical competence, one is able to perform as a speech language pathologist in hospital settings, private clinics or research institutes.
Master's and Doctoral Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Application and Admission to the Graduate Program in Speech Pathology
Applicants must be four- year college/university graduates for the master's course with no psychiatric problems. Applicants for the doctoral course must have a master's degree with no psychiatric problems. In order to enter the program applicants must pass the entrance examination consisting of an oral examination. or a written examination in communicative disorders with a minimum score of 500 on the TOEFL.
- Program Requirements
- Completion of 30 credits including the three required courses for the master's course
- Completion of 60 credits for the doctoral course. (30 credits earned in the master's course of speech pathology will be included in the 60 credits required)
- Passing the English examination : minimum score of 500 on the TOEFL(required in both master's and doctoral course)
- Passing the foreign language examination : in doctoral course)
- Passing comprehensive exam
