Pharmaceutical Medicine & Regulatory Sciences

The graduate program in Pharmaceutical Medicine & Regulatory Sciences is uniquely designed to foster graduates who intend to be professionals in the pharmaceutical industry. Ultimately, our goal is to provide trainings in the areas of pharmaceutical medicine, clinical pharmacology, regulatory sciences, and health policy & administration to establish competent professionals. The program will be directed by the professors from the College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy of Yonsei University, and will be consisted of lectures by experienced professors and experts from pharmaceutical industries, academia, pharmaceutical organizations (e.g. the Korean Society of Pharmaceutical Medicine), and regulatory authorities (e.g. MFDS, US FDA).

Course Objective

To provide students with the knowledge and skills in the areas of strategic development of drugs, regulatory affairs, epidemiological research, pharmacoeconomics, pharmaceutical policy, and management to ensure future competitiveness in new drug development and the better uses.

Eligibility for course

This program is open to students who completed undergraduate degrees in medicine, pharmacy or other related degrees and is determined to enhance their knowledge and skills in the following fields: pharmaceutical medicine, clinical pharmacy, drug regulatory science, and policy of pharmaceutics For degree title, students may choose between Master/Ph.D. of Science or Master/Ph.D. of Pharmacy depending on the field of undergraduate degrees or preferences.

Location

Classes will be held on-site or via webinars at the International Campus of Yonsei University in Songdo, Incheon or at the main campus in Sinchon, Seoul

Program Requirements for the Degree

The student is required to earn at least 30 credit points for M.S. or Ph.D., and 54 credit points for combined degree of M.S. and Ph.D.
